Problem
The City of Port Adelaide Enfield contacted Vision Intelligence to combat illegal dumping, which costs the community significantly in clean up fees, impacts the environment, is unsightly and can create public health issues. The City of Port Adelaide Enfield had some common hotspots they regularly collect illegally dumped materials in large volumes, and were looking for a solution to stop this behaviour.

Solution
Vision Intelligence installed two V4 Cameras with licence plate recognition at hotspot locations in order to catch offenders littering from vehicles in large quantities and illegally dumping rubbish. The final results of the trial are yet to be determined.
